Case
Webdesign and graphic design for a project for a Software as a Service (SaaS) company specializing in property management.
The challenge was to swiftly develop a comprehensive website, together with graphic design elements and content assets. With limited time and information about the target users, potential investors, and property managers, the urgent task was to showcase the company's technological prowess
and professionalism.

Challenge
The urgency of the project caused a lack of in-depth user insights, which posed a significant challenge. Operating within a tight timeline, I had to make design decisions based on assumptions about the potential stakeholders and users — an approach conflicting with my foundational UX principles of data-driven and user-centric design.
Despite advocating for the value of UX design and user testing, the project proceeded without these crucial components. This added layer of complexity required quick thinking and adaptability to ensure the website effectively communicated the company's message and value propositions.
Process
To meet the demanding deadline, collaboration with the startup's team was pivotal. The iterative process allowed for continuous improvements, ensuring alignment with the company's vision
and goals.
Working closely with a developer, we transitioned from rough sketches and user flows in Figma to direct design implementation in WordPress. This pragmatic approach aimed to save time while maintaining a visually engaging design.

Solution and Key learnings
The final output featured a clean, sleek aesthetic infused with dynamic visuals and animations, reflecting modernity, innovation, and technological expertise. Graphic elements strategically conveyed the company's professionalism and unique value propositions.
The cohesive design elements addressed the immediate need for a compelling website and established a consistent brand identity, instilling confidence in potential investors and clients.

Drawing on my knowledge of cognitive psychology, I navigated the challenges of limited user information, employing design thinking to envision potential stakeholder needs. The integration of graphic design principles, coupled with a pragmatic approach, showcased my adaptability and ability to deliver under tight deadlines.
This experience emphasized the necessity of aligning design decisions with user understanding, reaffirming the importance of advocating for user-centric practices in every project.
