Case
I took charge of a project to clean up the settings pages, following our lead UX designer's initial research and mapping efforts.
The existing design was a cluttered one-pager, lacking structure and overwhelming users with too much information simultaneously. The absence of a clear visual hierarchy led to cognitive overload among users. Identifying the most crucial settings for users and enhancing accessibility became a priority.

Challenge
As the project progressed, maintaining clarity in design files for each setting group posed a challenge. Ensuring consistency across pages and avoiding oversights while keeping the logout button easily accessible became key objectives.
Process
To address the issue, I divided settings into groups to enhance user comprehension and streamline navigation. The introduction of a search bar aimed to empower users in swiftly locating specific settings. Each setting group received a dedicated page in Figma, with individual sections for each setting. Multiple iterations and team voting were conducted to refine the design, ensuring it met diverse preferences and user needs.
Solution
The final solution involved a cleaner design with distinct setting groupings. The incorporation of UX/UI principles contributed to an interface that not only met the aesthetic preferences of the team but also prioritized the user's journey. Collaboration with the team, iterative design processes, and user voting contributed to a refined and universally accepted design.
